FAQs - Dining @ The Kitchen
Kids?
Most Menus & Events at The Kitchen are designed for an adult palate and are planned for a leisurely pace. While children are welcome at most events & parents are best suited to determine if dining at The Kitchen is an appropriate experience for their child, 70 North does not have a children's menu. However, certain Events/Menus are specifically kid and/or family friendly or focused. Note: Some events like Mixology are for those age 21+ only.
Walk-Ins?
We do not take walk-ins; and in general, we no longer accept RSVPs within 4 to 7 days of an event. Most Events require an RSVP & are paid in advance. However, there may be an occasion when we have a late cancellation or a menu's flexibility allows for a last minute RSVP. Please contact us or call 603-527-8222 to inquire about any availability last minute.
Menu?
Most Menus & Events are pre-fixe & pre-determined.
Attire?
We think dining at 70 North is a special, unique experience. Our food, service, & ambience are a bit elevated, yet comfortable; and we want you to be, too. In general, our recommended attire is pretty simple - we kindly request appropriate attire (ie, shirt & shoes, no beach wear), without profanity, obscenity, or nudity. The description of the Menu or Event serves as a good guide for what you may want to wear.
Tipping?
Our Menus & Events are priced to include service. While very appreciated, any additional gratuities are not expected and are at the discretion of the guest.
Need to cancel?
Our Menus & Events are carefully planned. A considerable amount of R&D goes into each event, & we need sufficient lead time to ensure that everything is set. The food (some of which are speciality items) must be ordered & prepped, the staff scheduled, & the room arranged. With that in mind, we do require a minimum of two weeks notice for any cancellations to receive a full refund (less a $10/person processing fee). For cancellations at least seven (7) days prior to the Event, if we are able to fill your spot(s) from the waitlist, you will receive a full refund (less a $10/person processing fee); otherwise, a 50% refund (less a $10/person processing fee) for any cancellations of at least seven (7) days prior to the event. Refund will not be honored for cancellations less than seven (7) days prior to the event. To submit a request to cancel, please complete the Cancellation Request Form.
Transfer RSVP?
If you are unable to attend an Event, you may transfer your RSVP to another party. They may attend in your name/under your RSVP; or you may tell us who we can expect in your place by contacting us. We are unable to transfer payment from you to the another party.
Wait List?
Each Menu or Event has a limited seating capacity. Should we reach the limit, you will be placed on a waitlist in order. As cancellations are received, those on the waitlist will be given the opportunity to join us. To join the waitlist for a sold-out Event, please complete the Waitlist Request Form.
Dietary Restrictions?
While we are able to note dishes that many contain common allergens, we are often unable to accommodate special diets or dietary restrictions. With at least two weeks' notice, an accommodation may be possible. If you are interested in learning more about a Menu or its ingredients, please Contact Us. Anyone with dietary or ingredient concerns should have their concerns answered or addressed prior to RSVP-ing. Beyond the cancellation policy, refunds will not be given for cancellations due to allergens or dietary restrictions.
Private Events?
Yes, we do have spaces for Private Events. We can't wait to hear about what you are planning! Please see the Private Events Page or complete an Inquiry Form.
Parking?
We have plenty of parking. Depending on the season, if you are arriving with a trailer, RV, bus, or other large vehicle, there is paid parking available for your rig in the immediate vicinity. In the summer & early fall, we are able to provide validated parking for our customers.
