  • Triple Spout Glass Measuring Cup

  • Egg Timer

  • Pie Weights

  • Baking Mat

SALT & SALT CELLAR

Once you try Maldon salt, it is hard to go back to just normal, run-of-the-mill table salt. Harvested in England, Maldon salt naturally forms as pyramid-shaped flakes. Its unique shape imparts an amazing texture & mouthfeel. The flakes allow for more generous use, without over-salting.

Salt is a flavor enhancer and should be used regularly in cooking & baking. Thereby, having a convenient salt cellar nearby is essential for the home cook. This white marble salt cellar is heavy enough to stay put in a busy kitchen, & it comes with its own spoon. It is also a great size to use for other condiments like jams or olives.

Want to take your cooking up a level, effortlessly? Maldon's also makes a smoked sea salt. Use the smoked version on meat, fish, veggies, corn on the cob, deviled eggs. It's also really good on a margarita rim.

MINI WHISKS

Most of the time something needs to be whisks, it involves a small quantity. Like a bowl of spieces or whisking up an egg white or 2. This collection of mini whisks are perfect! And added bonus is how little space they take up in your kitchen gadget drawer.

BROWN SUGAR BEAR

It's so annoying (and wasteful!) how quickly brown sugar goes hard. Just soak this cute little bear in a cup of water, then add him to a bag of brown sugar. The sugar will remain supple as the cute slowly releases the moisture. If the sugar has already firmed up, the bear can also help reconstitute it.

TRIPLE SPOUT MEASURING CUP

I use this measuring cup all the time at home; and we also use it in the bar at 70 North. It has 3 units of measurement -- ounces, cups, & milliliters. And then it has 3 pouring spouts, making it so quick and easy to measure & then immediately pour from. The units are raised glass, not printed on, so there is no fear of them wearing off. The cup also has a lid, so it is great to use for dressings & sauces that need to be shaken or stored.

EGG TIMER

This egg "timer" is not really a timer or clock in the traditional sense. This timer is added to a pot of boiling water along with the eggs. It then changes color to indicate when the eggs are soft boiled, medium, or hard boiled.

BOWL COVERS

Bowl covers are an attractive and sustainable way to store food. They also look lovely covering a dish for a potluck or pulling out a bowl of dip for a party. I don't know about you, but I seem to become all thumbs when dealing with plastic wrap -- it is so frustrating getting the wrap to adhere to the bowl and not to itself. These bowl covers are a cinch to put on.

PIE WEIGHTS & BAKING MAT

When baking, pie crusts bubble up. Ceramic pie weights provide not only weigh down the crust during baking but also disperse heat more evenly throughout.

This silicon baking mat includes measurements and oodles of baking conversions. It is multi-purpose: roll out your pie crust on it, mark out the increments to cut dough strips (just make sure you do NOT cut on the mat!), transfer to the oven or freezer.
